Under the control of Russian peacekeepers, armed formations in Karabakh have begun surrendering weapons, ammunition, and armored vehicles, as reported by Sarbaz.kz citing the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

"As of September 22, the following have been surrendered: six units of armored vehicles, over 800 units of small arms and anti-tank weapons, and approximately 5,000 rounds of ammunition," the agency's information bulletin stated.

It is also noted that 826 civilians remain in the location of the peacekeeping contingent, including 440 children who are unable to return to their homes. Accommodations, food, and medical assistance have been organised for them.

Recall that earlier during a meeting of the UN Security Council, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, accused Armenia of militarising Karabakh, the scale of which, according to the diplomat, was demonstrated by Azerbaijan's military operation in the region.
