There are over 20 people listed as affected following the disturbances at Makhachkala Airport, as reported by Sarbaz.kz citing the Ministry of Health of Dagestan.

Ten of the injured are receiving treatment in hospitals. Two of them are in extremely critical condition, while the rest have sustained moderate to severe injuries. More than 10 individuals with minor and severe injuries have sought outpatient medical assistance. The situation regarding medical aid is under the supervision of the Minister of Health of Dagestan, Tatyana Belyaeva.

To recall, several thousand people gathered near Makhachkala Airport on Sunday evening, October 29, just before the arrival of a flight from Tel Aviv, expressing their protest against the arrival of refugees from Israel. During the protest, the participants voiced support for the Palestinian people.

Soon after, some of the protesters stormed the airport, causing the suspension of its operation, initially until November 6.

The actions of the participants in the disturbances were criticized by Sergey Melikov, the Head of Dagestan, federal and regional ombudsmen, the Mufti of Dagestan, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, the Russian Jewish Congress, and many others. Sergey Melikov referred to the incident as a "blatant violation of the law."
