South Korea Calls on Russia and North Korea to End Military Cooperation

Seoul has adopted a resolution urging North Korea to cease military cooperation with Russia.

The parliament of South Korea has urged Russia and North Korea to halt their military cooperation, as reported by Sarbaz.kz citing Lenta.ru.

During the final meeting of the autumn session on Friday, December 8, the National Assembly of Korea passed a resolution calling on Moscow and Pyongyang to terminate their military contacts.

As noted in Seoul, the document was passed by a simple majority of 138 votes. The bill was introduced for consideration on October 17 and has ten members of the pro-presidential "Civil Force" as its authors.
