The British Army has developed a deployable mobile hospital that can be parachuted, enabling frontline medical assistance, as reported by Sarbaz.kz, citing Telegraph.

The 16th Air Assault Brigade has designed a surgical module that can operate autonomously behind enemy lines.

Named "Spear," the medical unit weighs just 250 kg and contains everything from oxygen cylinders to ventilators and stretchers. The module can be airdropped alongside paratroopers, and its installation takes only 20 to 30 minutes.

In addition to its medical equipment, the module also features refrigerators stocked with 20 packs of blood and plasma, allowing wounded personnel to receive blood transfusions directly on the frontline.

The module can draw power from both solar and wind installations and can also recharge from car batteries.

These innovative developments align with the new doctrine of the UK Ministry of Defence, emphasizing the importance of maneuverability. The strategy of "getting there first" is outlined in the document, whereby forces will rely on high mobility and combat readiness.
